- I'm a 33-year-old mom to two goofy, lovely girls. I've always wanted to start a journal for them, but can't seem to put pen to paper at the end of each day. With this blog, I'm glad to have a record of our lives when they were little. Berit, 5, and Marta, 3, allow Daddy Trevor and me to shower them with affection at our home in Petoskey. This space will also be a place of reflection during our adoption over the coming year. What a beautiful journey!

So glad to hear she is loving it. Elle was the same way. She skips off to school and I am so glad. Love the recent posts. The pics are great, too. I have been terrible about blogging. Trying to keep my head above water and kick this stinking sinus infection I've had for over a month. Best of luck in your race this weekend. Would love to grab a cup of coffee if you are in town.
