"Moon Book!"

Every time we start reading "Goodnight Moon" and I begin by saying (all together, now): In the great green room..., Marta turns and looks into my eyes, then over to my hair, and by the time I'm onto there was a telephone, she's back to the book. Hmmm. Wonder what she's thinking!

Note for posterity: "Goodnight Moon" is her current favorite book, followed by "Goodnight, Gorilla," "Oh, David," "A Tale of Tails," "Dora and the Rainy Day" (gak), "I Am A Bunny," and "Ten in the Bed."
